Data centers are the industrial powerhouses of the accelerating AI revolution. Unfortunately, data centers are broadly unpopular, fixed in one place, and very capital-intensive. It's becoming clear that they also face a challenging tax and regulatory environment in the near future.
We establish new municipalities full of residents who are in favor of things like by-right data center zoning, fast review processes in the planning department, and very competitive local sales & property tax abatements and incentives.
DataTowns, Inc. identifies, recruits, and incentivizes potential residents who already support AI data centers. Once we've settled into our new home, we set to work on the legal process of establishing a new municipality that supports the needs of industry and of our residents.
As a group of people who genuinely want to build a city that is anchored by data centers, we'll be far more able to absorb and defuse the enormous legal, political, and media scrutiny that a data center developer would face if they attempted to incorporate their own "company town".
DataTowns is a community headed by social media influencer & AI enthusiast Fritz Johnson. We're looking to partner with companies that want to build new data centers, in order to establish beautiful, permanent, bona fide municipalities - what we call "Data Towns" - where residents and industry alike are enriched by the enormous promise of AI.
When you're building a fixed asset worth many billions of dollars, it makes a lot of sense to do it in a place with straightforward approvals, regulatory certainty, and predictable taxes. The DataTowns community is excited to work with you to build just such a place.
If you're a data center developer or user, and you'd like to learn more about what we can offer you, send me an email at fritz@fritzthedev.com and we'll schedule a call.
